SSG Keith "Matt" Maupin was taken captive by insurgents on April 9, 2004, when his convoy was attacked near Baghdad, Iraq.  Matt was finally laid to rest by his family on May 27, 2008 after his remains were found by fellow soldiers on March 20, 2008.

Spc Gregory Goodrich and Sgt Elmer Krause were killed in action when their convoy was attacked on April 9, 2004, near Baghdad, Iraq.
