SSG Keith "Matt" Maupin was taken captive by insurgents on April 9, 2004, when his convoy was attacked near Baghdad, Iraq.  Matt was finally laid to rest by his family on May 27, 2008 after his remains were found by fellow soldiers on March 20, 2008.  Matt is survived by his Mother, Carolyn Maupin, his father, Keith Maupin and his brother Micah Maupin.  Click here to find out more about SSG Matt Maupin.
