Hello to everyone
Nov 9th at noon ,Galesburg will hold their Veterans Day Parade, Carolyn Maupin will be attending again this year.
I am making a replica of the wall I painted in Iraq
with additions to other side. (Full size) will be a float pulled on trailer. We would like any of the 724th TC soldiers to walk and pass out candy to the children like
before. They stage at noon and parade will start around 1400(2:00). It moves pretty fast down Main street ,will have closing service on Knox county court house lawn.
Carolyn has been asked to speak a few words again on lawn.
This is where Knox county memorials are placed. I have been told ,it is much larger than in the past when some 724th members walked in our parade. We had a great time ,but ran out of cany fast.And we had several bucket loads.We would like any who come to wear DCUs. If out ,(wear top with memorial patlen and banner to represent 724TH for the float.
